Two people and three dogs were rescued from a well-known Edinburgh<\/a> beauty spot earlier this week after becoming stranded in rising water.<\/p>\n Emergency crews from RNLI Queensferry and Kinghorn raced to Cramond Causeway on Tuesday, June 17, following reports of the group in difficulty. South Queensferry Coastguard teams<\/a> were also mobilised in the rescue mission.<\/p>\n When lifeboat teams arrived, the casualties were already deep in the water. They were located around halfway along the causeway and safely brought aboard a lifeboat<\/a> before being transported back to Cramond village.<\/p>\n The pair and their pets were cold and suffered minor scrapes from barnacles but did not require hospital<\/a> treatment after being checked over by paramedics at the scene.<\/p>\n As the Queensferry crew were leaving the area, they spotted another person stranded on Cramond Island.
