{"id":197101,"date":"2025-06-19T12:16:12","date_gmt":"2025-06-19T12:16:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/197101\/"},"modified":"2025-06-19T12:16:12","modified_gmt":"2025-06-19T12:16:12","slug":"sarah-ferguson-news-royal-opens-up-about-recent-mental-health-treatment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/197101\/","title":{"rendered":"Sarah Ferguson news: royal opens up about recent mental health treatment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/honey.nine.com.au\/royals\/princess-eugenie-shares-most-important-lesson-learned-from-mother-sarah-ferguson\/df816c2c-fa3d-4518-900f-a7a48b897504\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"S\ufeffarah Ferguson\">S\ufeffarah Ferguson<\/a> has spoken of the &#8220;profound scars&#8221; she has from childhood, following a recent stay at a mental health clinic in Switzerland.<\/p>\n<p>The 65-year-old, who was married to <a href=\"https:\/\/honey.nine.com.au\/royals\/princess-beatrice-talks-on-sarah-duchess-of-york-divorce-prince-andrew\/ed6a721b-b2d2-4849-9327-0737ddc67dc3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Prince Andrew\">Prince Andrew<\/a> from 1986 until 1996, shared details of her stay on social media and went into further depth about her mental health challenges in an essay published in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/royal-family\/2025\/06\/16\/sarah-duchess-of-york\/\" title=\"The Telegraph UK\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Telegraph UK<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Ferguson shared a photo from her stay at the mental health clinic on social media and opened up about her experience. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Mental health touches us all &#8211; it has no boundaries. Conversations with Dr Thilo Beck and @jangerberofficial, the clinic&#8217;s founder, were illuminating.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>She explained their mission is one she respects, bringing mental health into the open with compassionate conversation. \ufeff<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If you or someone you know is struggling, I encourage you to seek help. You are not alone, and there is no shame in taking the steps towards healing.
