While we might all be excited about One UI 8 Watch\u2019s looming beta<\/a>, Galaxy Watch FE users have an entirely separate update to be excited about.<\/p>\n

A new software patch for the Galaxy Watch FE is rolling out, just one month after an initial patch for 2025 delivered \u201cperformance improvements\u201d alongside various (undisclosed) security fixes. So far, we\u2019ve only spotted this release through Verizon, though it should arrive<\/a> on other Galaxy Watch FE models soon.<\/p>\n

Compared to May\u2019s patch, this month\u2019s build, software version R866USQS1AYE9<\/a><\/strong>, includes an even slimmer list of patch notes, keeping things pretty simple with this single line:<\/p>\n

The current software update provides the most up to date Android security patches for your device.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Not the most informative changelog, to say the least. Still, a bump up to Google\u2019s most recent security patch isn\u2019t a bad thing, and with One UI 8 Watch\u2019s beta period seemingly around the corner, anyone looking for a more exciting Wear OS update won\u2019t have to wait too much longer to receive one.<\/p>\n
