It\u2019s not the first time that the cousins-in-law have showcased their twinning wardrobes. In 2022, Zara stepped out in an L.K Bennett polka dot dress for Easter Matins at Windsor<\/a> (preemting this year\u2019s pattern of the season<\/a>). Royal watchers at the time noted how similar the Olympic equestrienne looked to one of Catherine\u2019s most iconic looks \u2013 the 1940s-esque Alessandra Rich dress she wore in 2019 to mark the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings at Bletchley Park.<\/p>\n

The Princess of Wales had been scheduled to attend Royal Ascot<\/a> yesterday, but reportedly pulled out at the last moment as she continues her recovery from chemotherapy treatment. While Catherine has been seen at a number of events in the past few months, if her Ascot absence is due to health reasons, it serves as a reminder of the Princess\u2019s message that she will have good days and bad days during her medical journey.<\/p>\n

Plenty of royals<\/a> made their way to Berkshire<\/a> today, however, including Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh<\/a>, and Prince Edward<\/a>, who were celebrating their 26th wedding anniversary at the George V Stakes. Zara\u2019s mother, Princess Anne, joined the couple in the royal procession, as did Princess Beatrice<\/a> and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. The older York<\/a> sister was on trend as she chatted with Peter Phillips’ girlfriend Harriet Sperling, wearing a butter yellow dress by Monique Lhuillier, complete with blue floral details. Beatrice paired the look with a white fascinator and a matching clutch bag.<\/p>\n
