Chelsee Healey’s boyfriend has been jailed for 24 months after taking part in a “wholesale” drug-dealing operation. Eddie Rainford, who shares a daughter named Cookie with the Hollyoaks actress, was accused of supplying large quantities of cannabis alongside Jay Boyd, 28. The court heard the duo supplied \u201cmulti-kilos\u201d of the drug worth up to \u00a345,000. Rainford, 32, pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug between November 11, 2022 and September 28, 2023.<\/p>\n

After Monday’s hearing was adjourned, Chelsee, 36, headed to Manchester Crown Court today to support her partner as he received his two-year sentence. His plea came just days after Chelsee became the first contestant eliminated from<\/a> Dancing on Ice<\/a> in January, around which time sources claimed she was struggling with things at home.<\/p>\n

A source told The Sun<\/a>: “What Chelsee was desperately coping with while on the show was that her partner, the father of her youngest daughter, was in court for drug-dealing and has been sent to prison on remand.”<\/p>\n

Chelsee added: “There has been a lot going on with me that I have been struggling with.”<\/p>\n

The soap star attempted to keep her partner’s identity a secret when they started dating in 2021, opting to share a select few snaps of him on her social media.<\/p>\n

Rainford’s name was revealed after he was spotted in the background of snaps taken at Chelsee’s baby shower. The actress, who has another daughter Coco, welcomed Cookie in December 2023.<\/p>\n

Chelsee previously gushed over their relationship, admitting she knew Rainford was “the one” after just a few months.<\/p>\n

She said: “This is the most supportive relationship I’ve ever been in. My friends and family love him, and he’s the first bloke I’ve introduced Coco to, which says a lot. I knew he was ‘The One’ within three to four months. I’ve kissed a few frogs, but he’s definitely marriage material.”<\/p>\n
