While miming a noose around her neck, she lip-syncs: &#8220;If I ever met the king\/ Break his neck with a string.&#8221; The clip ends with Miss Kaninna giving both fingers to King Charles&#8217;s administrative headquarters, Buckingham Palace.<\/p>\n<p>Miss Kannina grew up on Bruny Island off Tasmania&#8217;s south coast, released her self-titled debut EP in September 2024.<\/p>\n<p>She captioned her post: &#8220;Flew all the way to the UK to play my song in front of Buckingham Palace.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Buckingham Palace has <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/news\/royal\/1888831\/inside-buckingham-palace-royal-residence\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">served as the official London residence<\/a> of the UK&#8217;s sovereigns since 1837 and today is the administrative headquarters of the Monarch.<\/p>\n<p>The Palace is very much a working building and the centrepiece of the UK\u2019s constitutional <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" title=\"Royal Family\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/latest\/royal-family\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">monarchy<\/a>, serving as the venue for many royal events and ceremonies from entertaining foreign Heads of States to celebrating achievement at Investitures and receptions.<\/p>\n<p>Miss Kaninna, whose real name is Kaninna Langford, staged an impromptu performance of her song &#8216;Pinnacle B****&#8217; in London this week.<\/p>\n<p>The artist also captioned the post: &#8220;YOUR NOT MY KING !! #Alwayswasalwayswillbe #Aboriginal #Landback #thecolonywillfall. The comments on the video uploaded by the artist have been turned off.<\/p>\n<p>The website soulhasnotemp describes the artist as &#8220;Commanding stages from a young age, carrying forward the storytelling of her ancestors and fearlessly bringing them into the present.
