{"id":197993,"date":"2025-06-19T20:08:10","date_gmt":"2025-06-19T20:08:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/197993\/"},"modified":"2025-06-19T20:08:10","modified_gmt":"2025-06-19T20:08:10","slug":"bruce-springsteen-finished-recording-a-new-solo-album","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/197993\/","title":{"rendered":"Bruce Springsteen Finished Recording a New Solo Album"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tIn <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/bruce-springsteen-biopic-new-album-interview-1235367320\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a new Rolling Stone interview<\/a> tied to the release of his new box set Tracks II: The Lost Albums, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/author\/bruce-springsteen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bruce Springsteen<\/a> speaks at great length about the seven unreleased LPs he resurrected for the package, why most people have the wrong idea about his productivity in the Nineties, the upcoming biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere, and even his plans for a third Tracks box.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tBut when the conversation came around to his next album, he only offered a few details: \u201cI have a record finished,\u201d he says. \u201cIt\u2019s a solo record\u2026I would imagine it will come out in \u201926 sometime.\u201d When we asked if would say anything more about it, we got a one word response: \u201cNo.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tHe was was willing to expand more when Tracks III came up. \u201cThat\u2019s something that I\u2019ve finished and is ready to be released,\u201d he says. \u201cIt\u2019s just a question of when we have time to put that out, considering that I have a variety of other things that I\u2019m interested in releasing soon also. But you won\u2019t be waiting 25 years for the next Tracks album. I suppose it\u2019ll come out in the next three years or so.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tUnlike the second volume of Tracks, this one isn\u2019t centered around shelved albums. \u201cThis is all music from different points in my work life that I\u2019ve made, some with the band, without the band, some that go way back,\u201d he says. \u201cAt that point, the vault will be not completely empty, but virtually empty. There will be really not more, which I\u2019m sort of excited about doing, finally getting all the music that I have and have recorded out to my fans.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThree years ago, Springsteen released the covers collection <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-album-reviews\/bruce-springsteen-only-the-strong-survive-1234623195\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Only the Strong Survive <\/a>where he tackled classic soul\/R&amp;B songs like \u201cDon\u2019t Play That Song,\u201d \u201cSomebody We\u2019ll Be Together,\u201d and \u201cTurn Back the Hands of Time.\u201d He hinted at a second volume back then, and he tells Rolling Stone it\u2019s indeed been recorded.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s been finished for quite a while,\u201d he says. \u201cOnce again, timing. The covers records are things I make for my own amusement and entertainment when I\u2019m not writing. It was just a project that I had a lot of fun doing. And I love all that music, I love all those songs and those singers. So I do have another one, and there\u2019s other covers things I\u2019ve done that were not necessarily soul-related, so it\u2019s another project.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\t\tTrending Stories<\/p>\n<p>\t\tEditor\u2019s picks<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tSpringsteen is currently on tour in Europe. It wraps up July 3 in Milan, Italy. That\u2019ll officially mark the end of an extensive E Street Band run that started back in February 2023. It\u2019s unlikely he\u2019ll ever do a tour quite that long again. \u201cRather than do a 130-show stretch,\u201d he says, \u201cwhich we did this time because we had been off for six years, so I had to get back in touch with my audience, and it was fun playing with the band \u2026 in the future, I think we\u2019ll probably play more often and less dates.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tHow about a tour without the E Street Band that would gave him a chance to spotlight different corners of his catalog? \u201cI will be doing that again at some point,\u201d he says. \u201cI\u2019m not sure what the music will be, but I\u2019ll have a lot to draw on because I\u2019m making a lot of records.
