An iconic love story set in war time is coming to Bristol as part of a UK tour.<\/p>\n

Michael Harrison, in association with Cameron Mackintosh, has announced the full casting of Miss Saigon, which will be coming to the Bristol Hippodrome next year between Tuesday, July 21 and Saturday, August 1.<\/p>\n

The story is set during the last days of the Vietnam War where 17-year-old Kim is forced to work in a Saigon bar run by a notorious character known as The Engineer.<\/p>\n

There she meets and falls in love with an American GI named Chris but they are torn apart by the fall of Saigon. For three years Kim goes on an epic journey of survival to find her way back to Chris, who has no idea he\u2019s fathered a son.<\/p>\n

The production will see X Factor<\/a> star Seann Miley Moore reprising their celebrated role as The Engineer following acclaimed performances across an international tour which visited Australia, the Philippines, Taiwan and Singapore.<\/p>\n

The Australian dates saw the Filipino-Australian actor take home the Critics\u2019 Choice Award for Best Performance in a Musical at the inaugural Time Out Sydney Arts & Culture Awards.<\/p>\n

And Dom Hartley-Harris, recently seen in the West End as George Washington in Hamilton and on tour as Curtis Taylor Jr. in Dreamgirls, will play John.<\/p>\n

Boublil and Sch\u00f6nberg\u2019s legendary musical is also being reborn in this new UK production of Miss Saigon which welcomes new talent and recent Brit School graduate, Julianne Pundan.<\/p>\n

She will make her professional debut as Kim alongside exciting actor and singer Jack Kane, who has starred in Dragonheart Vengeance.<\/p>\n
