Prince William<\/a><\/strong> was in the presence of Hollywood royalty during his latest outing in the U.K.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, June 19, the Prince of Wales stopped by a lab at the biotechnological company Colorifix, where he was photographed alongside none other than Oscar-winning actress Cate Blanchett<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Blanchett, 56, is a council member for the company, which creates sustainable dyes for clothing. The actress accompanied William, 42, during the outing on Thursday, where they were taken through the entire manufacturing process at the Colorifix lab.<\/p>\n

In photos from their visit, both Blanchett and the future king<\/a> were dressed in white lab coats as they toured the facility. The Blue Jasmine actress even added a pop of color to her lab outfit, sporting a pair of hot pink eyeglasses.<\/p>\n

Prince William, Prince of Wales and actress Cate Blanchett visit Earthshot Prize Finalist Colorifix, a UK based company which creates sustainable dye for clothing on June 19, 2025 in Norwich, England.<\/p>\n

Colorifix, which was founded in 2016, was a finalist in the 2023 Earthshot Prize for the “Creating a Waste-Free World” category. The Earthshot Prize, founded by William back in 2020, “finds, supports and celebrates those who turn bold ideas into real solutions to repair our planet,” according to the organization’s official website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“The Earthshot Prize exists to champion the game-changers, the makers, the creatives, the leaders,” William says about the initiative, which awards the five best solutions every year with\u00a0\u00a31 million each. “When they win, we all win.”<\/p>\n
