The White House said that he will make a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/world\/middle-east\/live-blog\/live-updates-israel-iran-reactor-hospital-rcna213904\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">final decision within the next two weeks<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Mainland China&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CSI 300<\/a>\u00a0index started the day flat, while Hong Kong&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.HSI\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hang Seng Index<\/a>\u00a0added 0.56% after the People&#8217;s Bank of China expectedly kept its loan rates unchanged at 3.0% for the 1-year loan prime rate and 3.5% for the 5-year LPR.<\/p>\n<p>Japan&#8217;s\u00a0benchmark\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.N225\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nikkei 225<\/a>\u00a0dropped 0.14% and the broader Topix index fell 0.25% in choppy trade.<\/p>\n<p>The country&#8217;s core inflation rate climbed to 3.7% in May, <a href=\"#108161556-post\">its highest level since January 2023<\/a>.
