The Boeing 737 suffered \u201csevere turbulence\u201d during the flight, reports the Sun newspaper. Flight FR6080 departing from London Stansted on Wednesday morning landed safely at Kalamata International Airport.<\/p>\n
A source told The Sun: \u201cThe flight took off from London Stansted on Wednesday morning and headed for Kalamata. There was severe turbulence during the flight, but it managed to land on the runway at Kalamata International.<\/p>\n

Everyone was scared – it was the fact they said wait on the plane even though there was clearly a risk of fire.”<\/p>\n They also said there was already talk about “how weird it was that there was no signal for seatbelts while there was turbulence”.<\/p>\n A Ryanair spokesman said: “This flight from London Stansted to Kalamata (18 June) was taxiing to stand when the wing tip came in contact with a fence at Kalamata Airport.<\/p>\n “The aircraft subsequently continued to stand, and passengers disembarked normally. The aircraft then underwent the required inspections and maintenance prior to its return to service.\u201d<\/p>\n Ryanair<\/a> is rivalled by the likes of Easyjet, Jet2<\/a>, TUI and more. Kalamata Airport is the 16th busiest airport in Greece with nearly 300.000 passengers.<\/p>\n The airport is located between Kalamata and Messene on the GR-82.
