Sainsbury\u2019s<\/a> has issued a warning after a popular chocolate bar could contain pieces of metal. <\/p>\n The supermarket giant has recalled<\/a> the Sainsbury\u2019s Taste the Difference Belgian milk chocolate honeycomb pretzel as it could be unsafe to eat.<\/p>\n The food safety watchdog issued a risk statement yesterday, saying the chocolate product \u2018may contain pieces of metal, which makes it unsafe to eat.\u2019 <\/p>\n This affects the 150g chocolate bars with batch codes LIS9Sl22 and best before date end of April 2025. <\/p>\n \t\t The Food Standards Agency said: \u2018Sainsbury\u2019s is recalling the above product from stores due to the potential presence of metal fragments.<\/p>\n \u2018If you have purchased the above product with the affected batch code please do not consume this product and instead return it to any Sainsbury\u2019s store for a refund.\u2019 <\/p>\n Customers should contact the Sainsbury\u2019s careline team on 0800 636 262 for further information, the FSA said. <\/p>\n Sainsbury\u2019s said: \u2018No other Sainsbury\u2019s Taste the Difference confectionery products have been affected by this issue. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.\u2019<\/p>\n What other Sainsbury\u2019s foods are recalled?<\/p>\n Customers who have bought the six-pack of 250ml Appletiser cans should return the drinks<\/a> to the nearest store as they \u2018may contain an elevated level of chlorate,\u2019 Sainsbury\u2019s said. This affects Appletisers with catch code 328 GE \u2013 338 GE with use by dates of November 30, 2025 and December 31, 2025. <\/p>\n Fans of the Newcastle Brown Ale in 550ml bottles have been recalled by Heineken as it could have glass fragments. The recall affects bottles with a best-before date of November 30, 2025 and batch numbers L4321, L4322, L4323, L4324, L4325 and L4326. <\/p>\n Baxter\u2019s has recalled its Sliced Gherkins Crunchy & Sweet 540g due to the potential risk of mustard in the product, which is not mentioned in the ingredients list. <\/p>\n The gherkin recall affects the 540g containers with best-before dates of 06\/2026 and 07\/2026 and the following batch codes: 2400059, 2400060, 2400061, 2400062 and 2400063. <\/p>\n Got a story?
