A man was rushed to hospital following a hit-and-run in Cradley Heath.<\/p>\n
The victim, who is in his 30s, was struck by a car that ‘didn’t stop’ on Barrs Road.<\/p>\n
Police and medics were called to the scene at around 7.30pm on Saturday, April 12.<\/p>\n
READ MORE: Aldridge car body shop fire sees 40 firefighters sent to scene<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Paramedics treated the casualty for ‘potentially serious’ face and leg injuries before taking him to Dudley’s Russells Hall Hospital.<\/p>\n A West Midlands Ambulance Service<\/a> spokesperson said: “We were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Barrs Road, Cradley Heath, at 7.28pm on Saturday and sent an ambulance to the scene.<\/p>\n “On arrival, crews found a man who they treated for potentially serious injuries before conveying him to Russells Hall Hospital.\u201d<\/p>\n READ MORE: Rogue landlord who let Rowley Regis tenants live in ‘dangerous’ conditions fined \u00a32.2k<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n West Midlands Police<\/a> was now appealing for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.<\/p>\n A force spokesperson added: “We\u2019re carrying out investigations after a man was hit by a car which didn’t stop on Barrs Road, Cradley Heath, around 7.30pm on Saturday, April 12.<\/p>\n “The man, in his 30s, was taken to hospital with face and leg injuries.”<\/p>\n
