\n The Health Hive clinic<\/a> will be moving from the Market Place shopping centre to the Diabetes Centre on Chorley Street towards the end of June.\n<\/p>\n

\n This will give the health clinic more space to deliver more services.\n<\/p>\n

\n Bolton GP Federation chair Dr Kamran Khan said: \u201cWe\u2019re absolutely delighted to be moving into a larger, more modern space.\n<\/p>\n

\n \u201cThis relocation reflects the incredible growth and success of the Health Hive and our commitment to working closer with our system partners to meet the needs of our communities.\n<\/p>\n

\n \"TheThe Health Hive has previously been based at the Market Place shopping centre (Image: Bolton GP Federation) \u201cThe new location allows us to enhance both staff and patient experience, whilst staying close to the town centre.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

\n The Health Hive\u2019s new home will include two large consultation rooms which staff hope will help them expand on their capacity and deliver community-based healthcare.\n<\/p>\n

\n Services at the new location, alongside the diabetes service, will include NHS health checks, smear tests, help stopping smoking and Abdominal Aortic Aneurism screening.\n<\/p>\n

\n There will also be general advice, guidance and signposting.\n<\/p>\n

\n \"TheThe Health Hive will be on the move (Image: Bolton GP Federation) Staff also hope that the relocation will bring further benefits, including being more closely integrated with Bolton NHS Foundation Trust, which owns and manages the building.\n<\/p>\n

\n Dr Khan said: \u201cWe\u2019ll be co-locating with partners who share our values to improve access and reduce inequalities.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

\n He added: \u201cThis is about building stronger connections across primary and secondary care services and making every contact count for Bolton people.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

\n The\u00a0clinic<\/a> first opened at the Market Place back in September 2023, aiming to bring health services<\/a> to the high street<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n

\n It had originally been started as a walk-in Covid clinic before being expanded to include other services.\n<\/p>\n

\n The Health Hive\u2019s last day of service at the current Market Place location will be on Wednesday June 18.\n<\/p>\n

\n The clinic will then be closed for the move on Thursday June19 and Friday June 20 before reopening at the new site on Monday June 23.\n<\/p>\n
