The Princess of Wales serves as patron of East Anglia Children’s Hospices and became Royal Patron of T\u0177 Hafan Children’s Hospice in South Wales earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Her statement was shared through social media channels by T\u0177 Hafan and the children’s hospice charity Together for Short Lives.<\/p>\n

She described how such news leaves families “heartbroken, fearful of the future and often desperately isolated.”<\/p>\n

The Princess emphasised that Britain’s 54 children’s hospices ensure these families need not confront their challenges alone.<\/p>\n

“Being able to access the support of one of the UK’s 54 children’s hospices means they don’t have to face that future alone,” she stated.<\/p>\n

The Princess drew from her direct experience visiting both hospices to highlight their transformative impact.<\/p>\n

“As Patron of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices and T\u0177 Hafan Children’s Hospice in South Wales, I have the immense privilege of seeing for myself the extraordinary work of our children’s hospices,” she said.<\/p>\n

She described how these facilities provide crucial support by “lifting spirits through laughter, fun and play, as well as listening, holding, caring and sharing.”<\/p>\n
