Jake Paul<\/a> is just one week away from making his return to boxing.<\/a><\/p>\n

The 28-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer will clash with Mexico\u2019s former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr<\/a> on Saturday June 28 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.<\/p>\n

Paul\u2019s most recent ring appearance came last November when he defeated 58-year-old heavyweight icon Mike Tyson<\/a> via unanimous decision at the conclusion of their controversial showdown at the AT&T Stadium in Texas.<\/a><\/p>\n

Chavez could become just the second fighter to defeat \u2018The Problem Child\u2019 since the 28-year-old made his debut back in 2020. Paul\u2019s only career loss came at the hands of Britain\u2019s Tommy Fury in Diriyah two years ago.<\/p>\n

Legendary fighter-turned-promoter Oscar De La Hoya<\/a> has shared his thoughts on the upcoming battle between Paul and Chavez, admitting in an interview with Power 106 Los Angeles<\/a> that the 39-year-old Mexican appears to be \u2018doing better\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can see redemption, you know because he\u2019s had a tough life, he\u2019s had a difficult [life] you know being the son of the father and then the expectations, the pressure, he got involved with drugs and this and that, and you know he seems like he\u2019s doing better and he\u2019s doing good, and I\u2019ve seen him train lately. \u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve talked to the father and he says \u2018Look, if my son shows up to the ring the way I\u2019ve seen him in the last few months\u2019, I think he said last six, seven months, he goes \u2018Yeah he\u2019s gonna knock out Jake Paul\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
