{"id":200646,"date":"2025-06-20T19:26:16","date_gmt":"2025-06-20T19:26:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/200646\/"},"modified":"2025-06-20T19:26:16","modified_gmt":"2025-06-20T19:26:16","slug":"what-birmingham-city-target-kyogo-furuhashis-estimated-transfer-value-is-blues-may-need-to-splash-the-cash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/200646\/","title":{"rendered":"What Birmingham City target Kyogo Furuhashi\u2019s estimated transfer value is \u2013 Blues may need to splash the cash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>As Birmingham City prepare for their return to the Championship, the Blues are seeking to be ambitious and even attempt to gain back-to-back promotions, aiming to return to the Premier League.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Their summer thus far has consisted of loanees Taylor Gardner-Hickman and Alfons Sampsted making permanent moves to St Andrews, as well as the arrival of Phil Neumann from Hannover, having signed a pre-contract agreement in January.<\/p>\n<p>They have been linked with some high-profile signings in this summer&#8217;s transfer window, one of which would be former Celtic striker <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sponichi.co.jp\/soccer\/news\/2025\/06\/20\/kiji\/20250620s00002021005000c.html\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Kyogo Furuhashi<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Furuhashi departed the Bhoys for Rennes in the winter, a few months after he had been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skysports.com\/football\/news\/11679\/13200596\/man-city-celtics-kyogo-furuhashi-on-shortlist-to-replace-julian-alvarez\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">linked with a move to Manchester City<\/a>, but he has struggled for regular minutes under the management of Habib Beye.<\/p>\n<p>With the help of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.transfermarkt.co.uk\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Transfermarkt<\/a>, Football League World has looked at the estimated market value of Furuhashi, and just how much <a href=\"https:\/\/footballleagueworld.co.uk\/tag\/birmingham-city\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Blues<\/a> may have to spend to tempt Rennes into the sale of the striker.<\/p>\n<p>                        How much Kyogo Furuhashi is estimated to be worth as Birmingham City eye up deal<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.transfermarkt.co.uk\/kyogo-furuhashi\/profil\/spieler\/489463\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">According to Transfermarkt<\/a>, Furuhashi\u2019s current market value is just short of \u00a37.7 million, with reports suggesting that Rennes spent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skysports.com\/football\/news\/11095\/13294673\/kyogo-furuhashi-celtic-striker-set-for-10m-move-to-rennes-with-jota-close-to-8m-hoops-return\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">\u00a310 million<\/a> to bring in the 30-year-old just a few months ago.<\/p>\n<p>That would mean Rennes would have to take an immediate hit on their outlay on the former Vissel Kobe striker, and so that would suggest <a href=\"https:\/\/footballleagueworld.co.uk\/tag\/birmingham-city\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Birmingham<\/a> may well have to bid higher than what his supposed market value is.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t<a class=\"dc-img-link\" href=\"https:\/\/footballleagueworld.co.uk\/birmingham-city-likely-to-sign-stade-rennais-ex-celtic-kyogo-furuhashi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><\/p>\n<p>                    <img width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"kyogo furuhashi birmingham city\" data-img-url=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/copy-of-untitled-37.png\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/copy-of-untitled-37.png\" style=\"display:block;height:auto;max-width:100%;\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\t\t<\/a><\/p>\n<p>                    Related<\/p>\n<p>\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/footballleagueworld.co.uk\/birmingham-city-likely-to-sign-stade-rennais-ex-celtic-kyogo-furuhashi\/\" title=\"Birmingham City &quot;likely&quot;
