A popular Greek restaurant<\/a> in Bristol is moving to a new location in the city.<\/p>\n Sousta<\/a>, which is located on Clarence Road in Redcliffe, will be moving to Lower Guinea Street, reportedly in the home of the former Casamia and Casa restaurants.<\/p>\n Casa announced back in October that it would be ‘closed until further notice’.<\/a><\/p>\n Meanwhile, Sousta’s existing site is currently also listed as ‘temporarily closed’ on Google.<\/p>\n Sousta is described as a ‘Mediterranean restaurant and bar, family run, and serving authentic Mediterranean food using the freshest ingredients’.<\/p>\n The team goes on to say: “Meal times are occasions for friends and family to meet, relax and gather together at the table, sharing both good food and conversation.<\/p>\n “At Sousta, we maintain this tradition, providing the very best food and hospitality.”<\/p>\n Just last week BristolLive reported how the restaurant has been granted a licence to sell alcohol at its new venue<\/a>, despite residents’ concerns about ‘fire safety, noise and smells’.<\/p>\n Sousta wanted to serve booze until midnight<\/a> from Friday to Sunday and 11pm Monday to Thursday.<\/p>\n But Bristol city councillors gave the Mediterranean eatery an 11pm cut-off time seven days a week.<\/p>\n Sousta owner Erika Tomasovicova said the new venue, next to Paco Tapas, would be much smaller than other nearby restaurants so noise would not be an issue, and any live or recorded music would be played inside only.<\/p>\n The restaurant’s most recent social media posts date back to September 2024, at time of writing.<\/p>\n Situated on Lower Guinea Street in Redcliffe, Italian restaurant Casa<\/a> published an ‘important notice’ to its website in October.<\/p>\n It said: “At this moment, we are closed for future bookings. If you’re looking to book a restaurant, please check out our sister restaurant, Paco Tapas.<\/p>\n \u200c”All vouchers for Casa will be honoured at Paco Tapas. If you have any concerns or queries, please contact us at info@casamiarestaurant.co.uk.
