{"id":200836,"date":"2025-06-20T21:04:18","date_gmt":"2025-06-20T21:04:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/200836\/"},"modified":"2025-06-20T21:04:18","modified_gmt":"2025-06-20T21:04:18","slug":"prince-william-to-spend-birthday-privately-with-family","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/200836\/","title":{"rendered":"Prince William to spend birthday privately with family"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\">The Prince of Wales is expected to spend his 43rd birthday on Saturday privately with his family in Windsor after his wife pulled out of attending Royal Ascot this week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\">The Princess of Wales was said to be disappointed that she couldn\u2019t attend the annual race meeting on Wednesday, however it is understood that she is still trying to find the balance between returning to royal duties and focusing on her recovery from cancer treatment last year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\">Kate\u2019s public appearances have increased in recent weeks. On Monday she attended the Order of the Garter service at St George\u2019s Chapel, Windsor, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetimes.com\/article\/trooping-the-colour-2025-king-charles-lrd672q7l\" class=\"link__RespLink-sc-1ocvixa-0 csWvlP\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trooping the Colour<\/a> the previous Saturday. William wishes to protect his family\u2019s privacy as he supports the princess in her return to work. <\/p>\n<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\">Kate announced in January that she was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetimes.com\/article\/princess-of-wales-kate-cancer-treatment-hospital-clwfzd52d\" class=\"link__RespLink-sc-1ocvixa-0 csWvlP\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in remission from cancer<\/a> after several months of chemotherapy last year. In November, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetimes.com\/topic\/prince-william\" class=\"link__RespLink-sc-1ocvixa-0 csWvlP\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">William<\/a> described the family\u2019s ordeal as \u201cbrutal\u201d and \u201cprobably the hardest year in my life\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\">However, the princess has spoken about her desire to get back to work with a \u201cfulfilling\u201d year in 2025.
