The awards recognise Deliveroo\u2019s most popular local partners, from independent burger joints to neighbourhood sushi restaurants and all the dishes and flavours in between.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Liverpool has bagged nominations in various categories including<a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/liverpool-restaurants\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\"> &#8216;best Chinese&#8217;, &#8216;best breakfast &amp; coffee&#8217;, &#8216;best pan Asian&#8217;,<\/a> and <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/liverpool-restaurants\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8216;regional restaurant of the year for North England &amp; midlands&#8217;.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The local venues up for a Deliveroo award include:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"UnorderedList_unordered-list__gzblI\">\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 ENBBt\">Regional Restaurant of the Year Shortlist &#8211; North England &amp; Midlands: Yum Cha<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 ENBBt\">Best Indian &amp; Nepalese: Bundobust<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 ENBBt\">Best Chinese: Yum Cha<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 ENBBt\">Best Chicken: Spitroast<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 ENBBt\">Best Breakfast &amp; Coffee: Ezra and Gil<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 ENBBt\">Best Pan Asian: Zumuku Sushi<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \"><a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/liverpool-restaurants\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Yum Cha<\/a> is part of the new generation of Chinese restaurants that takes the traditional and puts a modern twist on it. The restaurant boasts sites in Liverpool city, centre, Lark Lane and <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/warrington\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Warrington<\/a>, with dim sum and roasted meats acting as the menu&#8217;s top items.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/0_Spitroast.jpg\" alt=\"Spitroast\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>Spitroast(Image: Deliveroo)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Bold Street&#8217;s <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/liverpool-restaurants\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Bundobust<\/a> offers Indian street food with classics such as bundo chaat, vada pav and okra fries. Bundobust also boasts its own brewery which offers a range of drinks, including classic IPAs and lager.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \"><a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/liverpool-restaurants\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Spitroast<\/a> has a restaurant on Smithdown Road and a second on South Road in <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/waterloo\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Waterloo<\/a>, both of which have a loyal following, with some diners calling it <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/whats-on\/food-drink-news\/tried-liverpool-chicken-restaurant-spitroast-15870747\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">\u2018better than Nando\u2019s\u2019<\/a>. The restaurant is also popular with footballers, and <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/jamie-carragher\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Jamie Carragher<\/a> has previously been spotted at the <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/crosby\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Crosby<\/a> venue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Before heading to Liverpool, <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/liverpool-restaurants\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Ezra and Gil <\/a>was known across Manchester&#8217;s Northern Quarter as one of the &#8220;busiest&#8221; brunch and coffee shops around. The restaurant was founded in Wilmslow with the menu comprising of a range of sushi platters and hot foods.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Voting is open now until 11:59pm on May 9 at <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/deliveroorestaurantawards.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"deliveroorestaurantawards.comLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">deliveroorestaurantawards.com<\/a>. Winners will be announced on 28 May 2025 via Deliveroo\u2019s social media channels.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Deliveroo has recruited Tilly Ramsay &#8211; Celebrity MasterChef finalist and daughter of Gordon Ramsay \u2013 to the judging panel alongside Deliveroo founder Will Shu and food critic Jimi Famurewa.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Will Shu said the awards are all about spotlighting the restaurants that keep our towns and cities buzzing.
