Trial date set for brother of former F1 team principal<\/p>\n

William Oakes, the brother of former Alpine team principal Oliver Oakes, is to face trial over \u2018criminally-obtained cash\u2019 charges.<\/p>\n

Local media report that William Oakes twice appeared before Northampton Crown Court to plead not guilty to two charges over accusations of possessing \u00a3831,885, \u20ac46,120, and $10,000 in \u2018criminally-obtained cash.\u2019<\/p>\n

Mr Oakes was also granted bail.<\/p>\n

Brad Pitt tests McLaren F1 car at COTA<\/p>\n

Hollywood star Brad Pitt has carried out a private Formula 1 test with McLaren just days ahead of the release of the new F1 movie, PlanetF1.com has learned.<\/p>\n

The highly anticipated F1 film will be released next week, with Pitt starring in the role of main protagonist Sonny Hayes, a veteran racing driver staging a thrilling Formula 1 comeback.<\/p>\n

Pitt joined McLaren in a TPC [Testing of Previous Car] test at the Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Daniel Ricciardo declares \u2018retirement not for me\u2019 as new venture launched<\/p>\n

Daniel Ricciardo has quipped that retirement is \u201cnot for me\u201d with the launch of a new venture.<\/p>\n

Ricciardo lost his place on the F1 grid in September 2024 when he was replaced by the Racing Bulls team.<\/p>\n

The Australian, who will turn 36 next month, claimed eight F1 victories in 257 starts after making is debut in 2011.<\/p>\n
