A discussion on GB News has reignited the debate over whether men should offer their seats to women on public transport, with Patrick Christys describing the situation as “a minefield”.<\/p>\n

The guest, who appeared on Patrick Christys live audience programme, expressed frustration about her own experiences on the London Underground. <\/p>\n

“I’m very old-fashioned, so I’d say yes,” she stated when asked if men should give up their seats.<\/p>\n

She said: “Coming into Paddington tonight did I get a seat? Did I heck. Men were just sitting there, drinking and doing whatever. <\/p>\n

During the GB News discussion, Charlie Downes, from the Centre for Migration Control, offered his perspective on the seat-giving dilemma. <\/p>\n

“I actually do try to give up my seat on public transport when there’s a woman of a certain age standing nearby,” he explained.<\/p>\n
