Craigavon<\/a> man accused of collecting information \u2013 \u2018an image of a private vehicle\u2019 belonging to a PSNI officer \u2013 \u2018likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism\u2019 \u2013 has had his bail varied to attend a wedding in Spain.<\/p>\nSean Patrick Martin (41), of Carrigart Manor, is charged in relation to July 6, 2023.<\/p>\n
Also on that day he is charged with \u2018publishing or communicating information about an individual who is or has been a constable in the Police Service of Northern Ireland which was of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism\u2019.<\/p>\n
At Craigavon Magistrates\u2019 Court on Friday a defence barrister said it was \u201cagreed bail variation\u201d to \u201cfacilitate attendance at a wedding in Malaga\u201d with the trip lasting from June 21 to June 25.<\/p>\n
Previously the defendant had his bail varied to allow him to go to a caravan in Donegal in May.<\/p>\n
Last year the defendant had bail varied to go to Dublin to watch Armagh GAA team.<\/p>\n
The case is listed for a preliminary enquiry \u2013 the legal step to send the case to the Crown Court \u2013 on July 2.<\/p>\n
