JLS star<\/a> Aston Merrygold<\/a> has been rushed to hospital in the back of an ambulance. <\/p>\n

The former X Factor<\/a> star, 37, shared worrying pictures on his social media<\/a>, which showed him optimistically sticking his thumb up while on a stretcher in an ambulance, with a drip seemingly attached to his hand. <\/p>\n

Aston \u2013 who found fame in the 00s boyband with JF Gill,\u00a0Marvin Humes<\/a>, and Orits\u00e9 Williams \u2013 said it had \u2018been an interesting 13hrs\u2019 but didn\u2019t reveal what caused his hospitalisation. <\/p>\n

This comes after a surprise performance at Capital\u2019s Summertime Ballfrom the Eternal Love hitmakers, who were runners-up on the fifth series of the X Factor in 2008, coming second to Alexandra Burke<\/a>. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s also been busy for Aston individually, as he made his voice acting debut in the newly released Disney Pixar film Elio alongside Zoe Saldana and Jameela Jamil. <\/p>\n

Scoring five number one singles (as well as five further top 10 hits) between 2009 and 2012, JLS split in 2013 when all four boys were still in their 20s<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The band will now be\u00a0playing 18 dates across 24 days in November 2025<\/a>\u00a0for the Club Is Alive Tour.<\/p>\n

JB confessed in a recent interview that JLS\u2019s shows will be more scaled back than they used to be. <\/p>\n

\u2018The older I\u2019ve got, the more I have a problem with heights,\u2019 he confessed to the Daily Star, admitting that the stunts they pulled off in the 2000s might not be possible anymore.<\/p>\n

\u2018We\u2019ve done some mad things [during live shows in the past]. Every tour, stunt-wise, we\u2019ve done something crazy. But I\u2019ll be honest, it\u2019s not for me anymore. I like my feet on the ground.\u2019<\/p>\n

The Club Is Alive Tour will take place across November 2025, beginning at Glasgow\u2019s OVO Hydro and finishing in London with two dates at the O2 Arena.<\/p>\n

In an official statement confirming the tour, the boys said: \u00a0\u2018Your boys are back! We\u2019re SO excited to be back out on the road with another Hits tour bringing the full CLUB vibes to your city!<\/p>\n

\u2018There\u2019s nothing we love more than getting to see you all and perform for you once again. We appreciate your support and we hope you\u2019re ready to party with us and our very special guest \u2013 Example \u2013 very, very soon!\u2019<\/p>\n

Supporting them on 14 of the 18 dates will be rapper, DJ, and music producer Example, who was locked in chart battles with JLS during the 00s. <\/p>\n
