But, good news for all you city dwellers, because of the UK\u2019s most picturesque bus journeys is just one hour from the capital.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/travel\/lists\/britains-ten-beautiful-bus-routes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Telegraph<\/a> has revealed the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/uk\/news\/the-10-most-beautiful-bus-routes-in-britain-062025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">most beautiful bus routes in Britain<\/a>, and one is within easy reach from the Big Smoke.\u00a0<strong>The Cambridgeshire Guided Busway<\/strong>, which embarks from, you guessed it, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/cambridge\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cambridge<\/a>, has been named as one of the top 10 most stunning bus rides in the country by the paper. On this journey, passengers ride in style on leather seats and with free wi-fi along tracks that resemble a tramway. The route that opened in 2011 goes from Cambridge to Peterborough\u00a0on a pathway\u00a0lined with leafy green trees. It\u2019s also an eco-friendly option, as the bus runs on biofuel.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The second-closest route to London was <strong>Birmingham\u2019s number 11<\/strong>, which passes through Britain\u2019s answer to Hobbiton. This attractive bus ride traverses the \u2018Outer Circle\u2019 of Birmingham, passing through rolling green hills which supposedly inspired\u00a0 JRR Tolkien to create The Shire.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Also on the list of the top 10 was what the Telegraph calls the\u00a0\u2018rarest bus in the world\u2019, the <strong>112 from Tavistock to Dawlish<\/strong> in Devon. Why is it the world\u2019s rarest bus? Well, it only runs\u00a0on the fifth Saturday of every month between April and September.
