It looks like we could soon have a box set of documentaries from the British royal family!<\/p>\n

King Charles<\/a> is set to follow in Prince Harry’s footsteps with an appearance in a new Netflix offering, but don’t expect any truth bombs.<\/p>\n

The royal will appear in a film celebrating The King’s Trust as it reaches a major milestone and has enlisted the help of a major Hollywood star to also feature.<\/p>\n

Idris Elba has signed on to appear in the special, which marks the 50th anniversary of the organisation, and he has a good reason for taking part. <\/p>\n

Idris is one of the 1.3 million people who have benefited from the trust over the years and helped to shape his future. <\/p>\n

‘The King’s Trust gave me an opportunity that changed my life,’ he explained. ‘At a time when I didn’t have the resources to pursue my ambitions, they offered support that helped me advance my career.’<\/p>\n

Charles set up The King’s Trust with his naval pension in 1976 to help young people from disadvantaged backgrounds <\/p>\n

The documentary is due to commence filming in the coming days, and Idris’ story is one of many that will feature. <\/p>\n

‘Idris will undoubtedly bring a unique perspective to this ground-breaking documentary as he peels back the layers of our story and shows how our life-changing work is as relevant today as it’s ever been,’ said Jonathan Townsend, UK chief of the trust.<\/p>\n

The King’s Trust Film is set to be released in the Autumn of 2026. <\/p>\n
