Ryan Gravenberch has set his sights on winning the Champions League after Liverpool’s Premier League<\/a> title triumph made him hungry for more silverware. The Dutchman played a pivotal role in helping the Reds <\/a>claim a record-equalling 20th championship last season.<\/p>\n A product of AFC Ajax\u2019s famous academy system, the midfielder made the move to Anfield<\/a> from Bayern Munich back in September 2023. Winning the Champions League<\/a> is a massive dream of mine, that\u2019s one I haven\u2019t ticked off yet.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd of course, to achieve something special with the national team, a Euro or even a World Cup<\/a>, that would mean everything. There\u2019s still a lot to aim for, and that\u2019s what keeps me going.\u201d<\/p>\n Arne Slot’s side secured the title with a 5-1 win against Tottenham on April 27<\/a>, and Gravenberch admits the scenes he witnessed that day, both before and after the game, will stay with him forever.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was honestly something really special, a season I\u2019ll never forget,\u201d he said. \u201cThe scenes on the bus as we approached Anfield <\/a>before the Spurs game, that afternoon we won the league, will stay with me forever.<\/p>\n \u201cThe passion on the fans\u2019 faces, the red flares, the noise, the songs, just seeing what it meant to them, it gave me goosebumps. That image will never leave me.<\/p>\n \u201cThe celebrations with the lads afterwards, that moment when it really hit us that we\u2019d done it, was incredible. Liverpool\u2019s second Premier League title in five years, and my first.<\/p>\n \u201cFrom my point of view, as a small child, you dream of these moments, so to achieve this is really special. I\u2019m proud to have played a part in what was an unforgettable season. And now, we\u2019re already looking forward to next season. We\u2019re hungry for more.\u201d<\/p>\n And the 23-year-old, speaking in an interview with Numero Netherlands, admits a certain mindset is required to play for a club like Liverpool<\/a>.<\/p>\n
