One man was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class-A drugs after police seized heroin<\/p>\n

Two men were arrested in separate incidents over suspected drug and road rage offences in Edgbaston.<\/p>\n

The arrests were made overnight by police officers investigating drug dealing ‘around Hagley Road<\/a>‘.<\/p>\n

Police said the first man, aged 32, was arrested on suspicion of possessing Class-A drugs after heroin was seized along with cutters and a screwdriver.<\/p>\n

In a separate incident, officers stopped a car the area which had been linked to two road rage incidents.<\/p>\n

A man, 41, was arrested on suspicion of making threats with an offensive weapon and also for criminal damage.<\/p>\n

A West Midlands Police<\/a> spokesperson said: “Two men have been arrested by our Operation Skybridge officers overnight in connection with two separate incidents in Birmingham.<\/p>\n

“Officers from the proactive team had been investigating drug dealing around the Hagley Road in Edgbaston<\/a> when they saw a man acting suspiciously.<\/p>\n

“A man, aged 32, was detained and a quantity of heroin was seized alongside items including cutters and a screwdriver.<\/p>\n

“He was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class-A drugs and going equipped, and remains in custody.<\/p>\n

“Officers also stopped a car in Edgbaston which had been linked to two road rage incidents.<\/p>\n

“A man, aged 41, was arrested on suspicion of making threats with an offensive weapon and criminal damage.<\/p>\n
