Three vehicles were torched outside Strawberry Garden – a grocers and cash and carry<\/a> – after midnight on Saturday.<\/p>\n Emergency services rushed to the scene on Forth Street in Pollokshields after receiving reports of a huge blaze.<\/p>\n Footage from the scene showed tall flames bursting out of the parked motors on the street. Shocked locals<\/a> watched on as police taped off the area.<\/p>\n Scottish Fire and Rescue sent three appliances to the scene and crews spent two hours dousing the flames.<\/a><\/p>\n Pictures taken by the Record at the scene hours later show the charred remains<\/a> of the burnt out vans on the street.<\/p>\n One vehicle is completely unrecognisable with only the bottom half and wheels still intact.<\/a><\/p>\n Police could be seen standing guard with the burnt out vehicles spotted in the background. Several officers were spotted assessing the damage.<\/p>\n A recovery truck was also pictured parked along the street as teams prepare to uplift the remains of the vehicles.<\/p>\n One witness who was working at a business nearby said: “It was crazy there were police everywhere. Three vans were on fire outside Strawberry Garden. I couldn’t get out to see my car for a while so I didn’t know if it was on fire or not.<\/p>\n “I had parked further down Forth Street earlier.
