Florian Wirtz\u2019s transfer to Liverpool has finally been completed with the German securing his \u00a3116million switch from Bayer Leverkusen. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The transfer of the attacking midfielder has been one of the most talked-about topics in football over the last month or so, and now, Liverpool<\/a> can finally start getting their new star man integrated into their ranks.<\/p>\n

Others, such as Milos Kerkez, are also on the cusp of having their moves confirmed<\/a>, but with the way things have kicked off this summer, there\u2019s bound to be more arrivals after the Hungarian. <\/p>\n

Liverpool were the most dominant team in the Premier League<\/a> last season, but with the number of players that their rivals are bringing in, it\u2019s not a surprise to see a new name linked with an Anfield<\/a> switch almost every day. <\/p>\n

And, now that Wirtz\u2019s Liverpool transfer has been confirmed<\/a>, how he actually feels about his new teammates has been shared. <\/p>\n

Florian Wirtz believes Liverpool will have a competitive team for years to come<\/p>\n

One of the best things about Liverpool\u2019s current set-up is that a lot of their players are in their prime years. <\/p>\n

Indeed, there are some veterans among their ranks, such as Virgil van Dijk and Wataru Endo, but the amount of experience they bring with them is second to none.<\/p>\n

And, as per a report from The Athletic<\/a>, it seems like Wirtz<\/a> knows that there is plenty to build upon in the years to come. <\/p>\n

\u2018When the German international made up his mind, he did so believing that he would be joining a squad who are well equipped to challenge for the Premier League and Champions League in years to come,\u201d they wrote. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard to deny that Liverpool are once again the team to beat. <\/p>\n

Many touted Manchester City to find themselves on the rise again next term, but with Liverpool\u2019s heavy spending in the window, they\u2019ve gone above and beyond what most fans expected of them.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s still a large chunk of the window to go as well, with many players such as Darwin Nunez and Harvey Elliott all getting linked with Anfield exits<\/a> before the transfer deadline. <\/p>\n

One thing Liverpool definitely need to do next term is to get further in the Champions League<\/a> than they did this time around. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Granted, they did lose to the eventual winners of the entire tournament, but it still feels like they could\u2019ve gotten further. <\/p>\n
