Manchester United <\/a>could pull off a transfer Arsenal<\/a> were desperate to complete three years ago by signing Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus this summer.<\/p>\n The 25-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Turin-based club amid ongoing uncertainty over his contract situation. While he remains under contract until 2026, Juventus may look to offload him if a new deal isn\u2019t agreed, in order to avoid losing him for nothing in 12 months’ time.<\/p>\n Juventus are already being linked with potential replacements for Vlahovic. Italian outlet Di Marzio has named Chelsea<\/a>\u2019s Nicolas Jackson as a possible target, while Liverpool<\/a>\u2019s Darwin Nunez has also been speculated in recent weeks. The arrival of a new forward at the Allianz Stadium could pave the way for Vlahovic\u2019s departure, even if his personal preference is to leave as a free agent in 2026.<\/p>\n Vlahovic\u2019s situation has understandably put several clubs on high alert, with rumours suggesting United may be among them. Ruben Amorim<\/a> appears determined to revamp his entire forward line this summer, with Matheus Cunha<\/a> already through the door, discussions are ongoing for Brentford\u2019s Bryan Mbeumo, and continued links to other striker targets.<\/p>\n If United can get a deal for Vlahovic over the line, it would no doubt rub salt in the wounds of one of their Premier League<\/a> rivals, who were determined to sign the striker three years ago before he joined Juventus. Reports in 2022 claimed Arsenal had made Vlahovic a priority target for the January window as he looked set to leave Fiorentina, but he instead chose to remain in Serie A and joined Juventus.<\/p>\n Vlahovic told The Telegraph<\/a> in June 2022: “Maybe my agent knows but I never talked to anyone about it. I just had one club in my mind because Juventus is Juventus. There is nothing else to say.”<\/p>\n The Gunners have continued to be linked with Vlahovic in the years following his big-money move, including this summer as they step up their striker search.
