Glasgow<\/a>‘s Bothwell Street has been completely transformed into a futuristic world for the movie, which tells the story of an author whose mythical world materialises.<\/p>\n

Shops<\/a> and businesses in the city centre have undergone a makeover and several roads in the area have been closed off. <\/p>\n

The new flick also stars Wednesday actress Jenna Ortega<\/a> and the legendary Samuel L. Jackson.<\/p>\n

Filmmaker J.J. Abrams has been spotted around Glasgow<\/a> while filming takes place. <\/p>\n

We previously told how restaurant bosses at Sarti’s Italian restaurant on Bath Street<\/a> were left shocked when Abrams popped in on Thursday night. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, heartthrob Glen Powell dropped by the Grosvenor Picture Theatre on Ashton Lane in the city’s West End. <\/p>\n

Sporting a grey jumper, grey trousers, and a black and white cap, the Twisters star kindly posed for pictures with delighted fans.<\/p>\n

The cinema<\/a> wrote on Instagram: “We were delighted to welcome a special guest to the Grosvenor Picture Theatre last night – Actor Glen Powell.<\/p>\n

“Glen is currently in town shooting JJ Abrams Ghostwriter, and couldn’t resist a visit to the iconic Grosvenor Picture Theatre it seems!<\/p>\n

“Thanks for joining us”. <\/p>\n
