Donald Trump\u2019s demeanour at the G7 has been mocked on Russian State TV as rumours continue to swirl about his health<\/a>. Despite the president\u2019s insistence that he \u201caced\u201d a recent medical exam, which he said included top marks on a cognitive exam, speculation continues to surround the 79-year-old leader’s health.<\/p>\n

Falls on the campaign trail, mysterious bruises<\/a>, and his clumsy handling of paperwork when meeting Sir Keir Starmer<\/a> last week have all contributed to accusations that the president is not functioning<\/a> as well as he claims or as he once was. The speculation has not gone amiss in Russia<\/a>, with acolytes of Vladimir Putin<\/a> taking to state TV to mock his appearance and ineffectiveness in the White House, going as far as to suggest that Trump appeared drunk during the G7 summit<\/a>. Political scientist Dmitry Drobnitsky said on \u201cThe Evening With Vladimir Solovyov,\u201d: \u201cTrump was flying from the G7, having escaped from there as though someone hit him with a sack full of dust.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I didn\u2019t know his personal history that he never drank, I would totally think that he was plastered, he was groggy.\u201d<\/p>\n

The panel has become well known for defending the actions of Vladimir Putin<\/a> and using alarmist and threatening language to refer to the country\u2019s adversaries.<\/p>\n

Despite an improvement in the relationship between the US and Russia<\/a> since Trump came to power, with the two countries\u2019 leaders having had several phone calls, Trump\u2019s performance on the world stage was mocked by those on the panel.<\/p>\n

Drobnitsky added: \u201cEveryone knows that the United States no longer has the might that Bush Jr had in 2003.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst of all, they have no financial or industrial might that they had 20 years ago \u2013 they just don\u2019t have it.<\/p>\n

Trump said following the conversation: “I just finished speaking, by telephone, with President Vladimir Putin<\/a>, of Russia<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe call lasted approximately one hour and 15 minutes. We discussed the attack on Russia<\/a>\u2019s docked airplanes, by Ukraine<\/a>, and also various other attacks that have been taking place by both sides. It was a good conversation, but not a conversation that will lead to immediate Peace.<\/p>\n
