Liverpool ace Robbo, 31, has 4.4million followers on the photo-sharing site.<\/p>\n

And that puts him ahead of Scott McTominay<\/a>, 28, who has 3.3million after a huge surge in popularity in the wake of his Italian title-winning heroics for his club Napoli<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And the pair, plus re-signed Celtic<\/a> hero Kieran Tierney<\/a>, 28 \u2014 who has a million social media<\/a> fans \u2014 are primed to rake in fortunes from their posts.<\/p>\n

Brand expert Nick Ede told how they are cashing in on links to other major teams.<\/p>\n

Robbo is tipped to move to Spain\u2019s Atletico Madrid<\/a>, while McTominay started at Manchester United<\/a> and Tierney was at Arsenal<\/a> for six years.<\/p>\n

Mr Ede said their Instagram<\/a> figures could be translated into \u201cmillions of pounds\u201d.<\/p>\n

He explained: \u201cThey attract loads of followers, and not just football<\/a> fans.<\/p>\n

“As with any kind of public figure, people want to know more about them.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd that could be brands they\u2019re associated with. It builds up your following.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt also means they have a strong currency<\/a> to expand their personal brand \u2014 and it\u2019s great for the team they play for.\u201d<\/p>\n

But the trio are not prolific contributors.<\/p>\n

Robertson has posted 761 times on Instagram since 2013, while McTominay has shared pics 332 times since 2016 and Tierney just 215.<\/p>\n

Mr Ede said: \u201cSomeone like Andy could command \u00a3100,000 a post for a top brand.
