Manchester United have a huge season ahead as they look to get back to the levels that made them one of the biggest and most famous clubs in the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Red Devils endured one of their worst seasons in recent history last term, finishing 15th in the Premier League table and failing to win silverware.<\/p>\n

However, Manchester United<\/a> have set about trying to rebuild and regroup in pre-season, making one signing and working on a second.<\/p>\n

Old Trafford legend Andrew Cole<\/a> has now given his verdict on Matheus Cunha<\/a>, who the Red Devils have signed from Wolverhampton Wanderers.<\/p>\n

Cunha is the first signing of the summer for Man United, who paid Wolves \u00a362.5million for his signature.<\/p>\n

Cole said \u201ceveryone has been talking\u201d about Man United not creating enough chances, and suggested that Cunha is just the man to solve the problem.<\/p>\n

\u201cHopefully he brings a lot of creativity,\u201d Cole said of Cunha on Sky Sports News<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m looking forward to it, and no doubt he\u2019s looking forward to it as well, which is the most important thing. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe can get himself a good pre-season and go from there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Man United are also in talks over Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo<\/a>, one of the Premier League\u2019s standout players from last season.<\/p>\n

The three other players Rio Ferdinand wanted at Man United this summer<\/p>\n

Back in April, Old Trafford legend Rio Ferdinand named four players he hoped Man United would sign<\/a> this summer.<\/p>\n

One of them was Cunha, with Ferdinand saying: \u201cAnother one I\u2019d go and buy is Cunha. He\u2019s made it clear that he wants to leave so I\u2019d go and get Cunha.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Out of the other three players, two are still available, while the other has gone and joined arch-rivals Liverpool.<\/p>\n

Ferdinand said: \u201cI want a centre midfielder to play alongside (Manuel) Ugarte, that player needs to be able to take the ball and transfer it through to Bruno and the strikers. <\/p>\n

\u201cAnd you know who I\u2019d go for? Adam Wharton.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also said: \u201cOsimhen. And I know, sorry Napoli and Galatasaray, if I\u2019m Man United, Osimhen comes to Man United next year, I\u2019m making it happen.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for the one who is now at Liverpool, Ferdinand said at the time: \u201cYou know who else I\u2019d go and get?
