Manager Arne Slot has already signed Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen, while Milos Kerkez is also set to move to Anfield from Bournemouth in the coming days.<\/p>\n<p>The Premier League champions are keen on signing a striker in the summer transfer window, too.<\/p>\n<p>TEAMtalk\u2019s transfer correspondent, Rudy Galetti, reported on June 17 that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/liverpool\/victor-osimhen-liverpool-napoli-swap-deal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Liverpool are among the clubs that are interested in a summer deal for Victor Osimhen<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Sources have told TEAMtalk that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/victor-osimhen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Osimhen<\/a> has a release clause of \u20ac75million (\u00a364.2million, $86.4m) in his contract at Napoli.<\/p>\n<p>TEAMtalk understands that Napoli want to sign striker <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/darwin-nunez\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Darwin Nunez<\/a> and winger <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/federico-chiesa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Federico Chiesa<\/a> from Liverpool in the summer transfer window.<\/p>\n<p>Liverpool are ready to offload Nunez and Chiesa to Napoli in exchange for Osimhen, who was described as \u201cthe best striker in the world\u201d by Nigeria manager Eric Chelle\u00a0on BBC Sport Africa\u00a0earlier this month.<\/p>\n<p>Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli journalist, Valter De Maggio, has revealed that Napoli have responded to such a proposal from Liverpool for Osimhen, who\u00a0spent last season on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.areanapoli.it\/calciomercato\/de-maggio-intreccio-liverpool-napoli-chiesa-e-nunez-per-osimhen-la-richiesta-di-de-laurentiis_597199.html\" target=\"_blank\">AreaNapoli<\/a> quotes De Maggio as saying: \u201cThere is a market connection between Napoli and Liverpool.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe English club wants\u00a0Osimhen\u00a0and\u00a0Napoli\u00a0, from this point of view, do not make any discounts on the clause, therefore asking for \u20ac75million (\u00a364.2million, $86.4m)as per the contract.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe sporting director of the Neapolitan club, Giovanni Manna, has tried to ask for information for the two Reds forwards, namely Darwin\u00a0Nunez\u00a0and former Juventus player Federico\u00a0Chiesa.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>De Maggio added: \u201cLiverpool would have opened up to Napoli by proposing an equal exchange between the players involved in this operation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAurelio\u00a0De Laurentiis, however, has other ideas and is not listening: the president of the blue club is asking for Chiesa, Nunez and \u20ac20million (\u00a317.1m, $23m) for Osimhen\u2019s registration\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>READ MORE<\/strong><strong>\u00a0\ud83d\udd34\u00a0<\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/liverpool\/top-10-highest-paid-liverpool-players\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Liverpool wages: Top 10 highest-paid players at Anfield after Florian Wirtz transfer<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Victor Osimhen breaks silence on his future<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Osimhen is one of the most in-demand strikers in the world and is fully aware of all the clubs chasing him.<\/p>\n<p>However, the Napoli star \u2013 who scored 37 goals and registered eight assists in 41 appearances in the 2024\/25 campaign, as Galatasaray won the Turkish Super Lig and the Turkish Cup \u2013\u00a0is keeping his cards close to his chest and has publicly said that he has not decided on his future yet.<\/p>\n<p>Osimhen spoke about his future this week with Nigerian media personality\u00a0Daddy Freeze\u00a0and noted: \u201cIt\u2019s always like this when the season ends and the summer transfer window begins.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou have a lot of clubs wanting your services, but right now, I\u2019m focused on my holiday and enjoying myself.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile I\u2019m enjoying my break, I\u2019m also reminiscing about the past season I had with Galatasaray\u2014watching clips of my goals, the mistakes I made, and the things I did well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Former Man Utd defender Rio Ferdinand believes that Osimhen will end up at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n<p>Ferdinand said on his\u00a0YouTube channel: \u201cNo.9, they already know who I want.
