Prince Harry is ‘no longer mentioned’ by Prince William as the Royal Family<\/a> rift enters a new stage. The brothers have not seen or spoken to each other since their grandmother’s funeral in September 2022.<\/p>\n

A friend told the Times: “What has struck me the most recently is that he just doesn’t mention it at all.” The friend continued: “It used to be that the family stuff was taking up a lot of space in his head, it was a very close relationship and he was very upset.<\/p>\n

“But he’s not letting it get to him at all any more. It is a change. It’s sad, but it’s a much healthier space for him to be at.”<\/p>\n

A second source said of Prince William’s difficult year, which has seen him support Kate Middleton and King Charles III amid their caner battles: “When you’re going through a tough time like that and you’ve got a lot of tough choices to make in terms of protecting your family, the public support and having had the time to be a husband and father through it all was important.”<\/p>\n

Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, former principal private secretary to William, Kate and Harry, told the publication: “I think it has demonstrated William’s character and his courage \u2013 he’s had to take the whole thing in his stride and shown that he won’t be pushed around.”<\/p>\n

It comes 24 hours after the Prince of Wales has marked his 43rd birthday in a picture with his dog Orla and three of her puppies.<\/p>\n

The photograph, taken by the Princess of Wales, was shared by Kensington Palace on William\u2019s birthday on Saturday, with the caption: \u201cHappy birthday! Love C, G, C, L, Orla and the puppies!\u201d<\/p>\n
