Tennis superstar Andy Murray<\/a> has branded one of the world\u2019s most prestigious sports \u00adceremonies \u201cs***e\u201d.<\/p>\n The 38-year-old former world No1<\/a> has revealed he once even stopped at McDonald\u2019s wearing his tuxedo on the way to the glitzy Wimbledon \u00adChampion\u2019s Dinner.<\/p>\n The blunt-speaking Scot\u2019s<\/a> mum Judy explained that her son was exhausted after the \u00adgruelling match followed by hours of press interviews.<\/p>\n Andy<\/a> lifted the men\u2019s golden trophy on Wimbledon\u2019s Centre Court first time in 2013, beating all-time great Novak Djokovic in straight sets.<\/p>\n Judy said that afterwards \u201cthe players\u2019 restaurant was closed so there wasn\u2019t any food available, not just for Andy but for anyone. He was starving\u201d.<\/p>\n Speaking during Centre Stage, a series of stage shows in Glasgow, Edinburgh and London in which he shares candid \u00adanecdotes about his career, Andy<\/a> said he wanted to celebrate his first Wimbledon victory with friends and family.<\/p>\n Instead he was forced to attend the traditional \u00adchampion\u2019s dinner at London\u2019s InterContinental Park Lane hotel<\/a>, 90 minutes from the All England Club.<\/p>\n Arriving at 11.30pm, he described<\/a> how he wasn\u2019t able to even sit with his mum, dad or now wife Kim Sears, and joked, \u201cYeah, it was s***e\u201d.<\/p>\n He had previously said he was unable to remember any of the 2013 match afterwards and felt only a sense of \u201crelief\u201d at having won, rather than a sense of achievement.<\/p>\n The sporting legend told the 3000 fans in the audience that he celebrated his 2016 Wimbledon victory, which he won <\/a>by beating Canadian Milos Raonic in straight sets after two hours and 47 minutes, very differently.<\/p>\n Of that win, his last at a Grand Slam<\/a>, he told the crowd that he stopped at a McDonald\u2019s on the way to the \u00adChampions\u2019 Dinner while wearing his tuxedo.<\/p>\n Mum Judy laughed as she recalled how the drive-through staff couldn\u2019t believe their eyes when Andy picked up his order in his evening attire, and said: \u201cThey were asking, \u2018Is that Andy<\/a> Murray?
