The final signature event of the 2025 PGA Tour season at the Travelers Championship concludes today.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The US Open at Oakmont turned into a bruising experience for all of the world’s best.<\/p>\n

JJ Spaun came out on top of a very tight field to claim the third major of the yearCredit: Getty<\/p>\n

In the end, it was JJ Spaun who managed his way around one of the toughest courses in the world to claim victory<\/a>, winning it with a spectacular putt on the 18th hole to deny Scotland’s Bob MacIntyre.<\/p>\n

He was the only player to finish under par, showing just how tough everyone found Oakmont, and he will be competing here as well.<\/p>\n

But the majority of the players involved have bounced back, and with one round to go, Tommy Fleetwood leads the pack.<\/p>\n

The Englishman has never won a PGA Tour event, but he has a three-shot lead over Keegan Bradley and Russell Henley.<\/p>\n

Travelers Championship: Dates and how to follow<\/p>\n

The 2025 Travelers got going on Thursday, June 19 to Sunday, June 22.<\/p>\n

It is being held at TPC River Highlands in Hartford, Connecticut. The course is a par 70 and measures 6,844 yards in length.<\/p>\n

The action will get underway at 1pm UK time each day.<\/p>\n

The action will also be shown on Sky Sports Golf, with the broadcast starting at 12:30pm on Thursday and Friday, and 5:30pm on Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n

As you would expect for an elevated event, the limited field of 72 players is full of top quality.<\/p>\n

McIlroy and Scheffler headline the action with Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, Thomas, Ludvig Aberg and Shane Lowry also in Hartford.<\/p>\n

And after claiming the first major of his career, Spaun has been involved as well.<\/p>\n

Fleetwood is desperate to finally get that first PGA win ticked off.<\/p>\n

Speaking after an excellent round three, he said: “I would love to win on the PGA Tour.<\/p>\n

“I think it’s like an element of your career that everybody wants, and I of course want it.<\/p>\n

“I’ve been here plenty of times.<\/p>\n

“I’m looking forward to it. It’s just an amazing opportunity for me to go out and enjoy it, and hopefully it’s our time.”<\/p>\n
