West Ham need to outsmart the market this summer, and could be presented with the opportunity to secure a bargain deal.<\/strong><\/p>\n Graham Potter will aim to rebuild his squad on a limited budget as West Ham<\/a> struggle with PSR issues, which means some key players may leave.<\/p>\n Mohammed Kudus<\/a> could be one of those who departs to ease the financial situation at the London Stadium this summer, but West Ham will need to replace the winger.<\/p>\n His replacement could be Juventus star Nicol\u00e1s Gonz\u00e1lez, amid a new development coming out of Italy.<\/p>\n Argentina winger Gonz\u00e1lez joined Juventus last season after an excellent spell at Fiorentina, in which he provided an assist against West Ham in the UEFA Conference League<\/a> final.<\/p>\n However, it has been a difficult season in Turin, and Juventus are prepared to sell several players<\/a> to conduct a rebuild themselves.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Gonz\u00e1lez\u2019s career record <\/p>\n As reported by Calciomercato<\/a> (22 June), Gonz\u00e1lez is not deemed irreplaceable and could be allowed to leave Juventus for as little as \u00a322million, a fee which has been described as a \u201cbargain\u201d.<\/p>\n Marseille, Brentford and West Ham have all been credited with an interest in the 27-year-old.<\/p>\n West Ham are operating on a limited budget, so securing a player of Gonz\u00e1lez\u2019s pedigree for \u00a322m would be a very positive step in the right direction.<\/p>\n Gonz\u00e1lez would arrive as an international star with plenty of experience in Serie A and Europe, and would help replace Kudus\u2019 speed and goal threat<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Argentinian is capable of playing on both wings, as well as through the middle, and has provided nine goals and assists in 35 appearances since joining Juventus.<\/p>\n Gonz\u00e1lez has appeared for Argentina 43 times, winning two Copa Americas, and could both provide cover for Jarrod Bowen<\/a> while also playing alongside him.<\/p>\n If Kudus leaves for a significant fee, Gonz\u00e1lez could arrive as his replacement, while funds could be made available to strengthen other areas to help Potter for next season.<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/mohammed-kudus-west-ham-1024x575.png\")
