Wirtz has followed in Frimpong\u2019s footsteps by joining the Reds from Bayer Leverkusen this summer, meaning the close friends will continue to be teammates.<\/p>\n
The duo shared four-and-a-half successful seasons at the Bundesliga club and Frimpong is excited by the prospect of linking back up with Wirtz as fresh additions to the Premier League champions\u2019 squad.<\/p>\n
When asked what Liverpool supporters can expect from the Germany playmaker, Frimpong told Sky Sports: \u201cJust expect a winner. He\u2019s a very, very, very special player and for me, he\u2019s a very hard-working guy. The league will love him \u2013 I haven\u2019t got to talk too much, just watch him!<\/p>\n
