{"id":205776,"date":"2025-06-22T18:49:11","date_gmt":"2025-06-22T18:49:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/205776\/"},"modified":"2025-06-22T18:49:11","modified_gmt":"2025-06-22T18:49:11","slug":"man-arrested-over-assault-outside-ballymena-bar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/205776\/","title":{"rendered":"Man arrested over assault outside Ballymena bar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">A man has been arrested after another man was injured in what police have described as a &#8220;serious assault&#8221; in Ballymena, County Antrim.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">The attack happened at about 02:05 BST on Sunday outside a licenced premises in Ballymoney Street.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">Police and the ambulance service went to the scene and the man was taken to hospital.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent in Ballymena on Sunday afternoon.
