Soap star Stephanie Davis has shared her shock, devastation and heartbreak over the fact her relationship with Joe McKalroy has ended just months after they welcomed a child<\/p>\n

Stephanie Davis has confirmed her split from boyfriend Joe McKalroy after a week of speculation about their romance. The 32-year-old soap star shares a five-month-old son named Samuel with partner Joe – who she had been dating since 2022.<\/p>\n

But rumours emerged last weekend that their romance was over after Stephanie<\/a> shared a message about Father’s Day that noticeably made no mention of the father of her son.<\/a> Further comments from the Hollyoaks<\/a> star fuelled further speculation that the relationship was over.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, Stephanie took to social media to confirm that her relationship with Joe was indeed over and that she was facing racing her child as a solo parent. She did not elaborate as to what caused the collapse of the once strong romance.<\/p>\n

In an Instagram<\/a> Stories post, she wrote: “Never in a million years did I think I’d be writing this. I’ve been left with no choice but to address the rumours.”<\/p>\n

She continued: “This has come as a complete shock and has been an incredibly painful and unexpected time. Just four months after having a baby – one of the most vulnerable and emotional times in a woman’s life – I’ve found myself facing this chapter on my own.”<\/p>\n

Hinting at her past troubled romance with reality star Jeremy McConnell, with whom she shared a seven-year-old son, she went on: “After everything I’ve been through in the past, I truly believed I’d finally found my happiness – something secure and lasting. But that, heartbreakingly, hasn’t been the case.”<\/p>\n

Stephanie went on to write: “I’m greatful for the years we had because without us I wouldn’t have my Samuel. Who will always be my priority.”<\/p>\n

And she concluded: “Right now, I’m focusing on healing, protecting my peace, and doing the best I can – being there for my two beautiful boys. Thank you to those who’ve reached out – your kindness has meant more than I can say. Stephanie X.”<\/p>\n

Her update came just hours after she shared an earlier social media post marking the five month mark of her son, Samuel, which made no reference to Joe.<\/p>\n

She wrote, to the surprise of fans: “This Day 5 months ago you came into this world<\/a>. Only 5 months old today ( I know he\u2019s still a tiny baby). It\u2019s crazy to think he\u2019s not been out in this world as long as he was in my tummy.”<\/p>\n

The message went on: “From nearly losing you in the beginning, the worst pregnancy<\/a>, C.Diff, I couldn\u2019t walk with pelivic girdle trapped in the house for months & months, a terrible birth, then lifting doing every night feed lifting after a C-section , then your breathing eppsiodes which was the scariest time of my life, it\u2019s been a long hard traumatic road.<\/p>\n

“But here you are thriving my miricale my rainbow… my world… Everything I do is for you and your brother and I will always be here every single day for you, cheering you on.”<\/p>\n

She added: “I\u2019m so lucky getting to watch you grow every single day by your side into the most beautiful little boy. It So sad I don\u2019t have many photos of me and you bar selfies I\u2019ve taken, but from now on I\u2019ll make sure we have many thogether. You will always be my priority. I love you baby.”<\/p>\n
