Kayla Goodearl had to ban fianc\u00e9 Craig Cooper from the bedroom because of his Mounjaro MojoCredit: Lorna Roach 5<\/p>\n Craig weighed 20stone before getting fat jabsCredit: supplied 5<\/p>\n He’s now 14st 8lb with a much higher sex driveCredit: supplied<\/p>\n But social media<\/a> manager Craig\u2019s newfound \u201cMounjaro Mojo<\/a>\u201d \u2014 a turbocharged libido sparked by his astonishing six-stone weight loss \u2014 is relentless.<\/p>\n The bedroom has become a battleground of desire versus exhaustion, where a temporary sex ban \u2014 initiated by stay-at-home mum Kayla, 35 \u2014 was the only thing standing between them and chaos.<\/p>\n \u201cIt had to be done, it was driving me crazy,\u201d says Kayla, from Rochester, Kent<\/a>. <\/p>\n \u201cThe weight-loss jabs<\/a> had got him pumped up and he now has a superman libido.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was like he was taking daily doses of Viagra<\/a>, so I had to put him on a sex ban so I could catch up with him.<\/p>\n \u201cHis new mojo was initially fun. <\/p>\n \u201cBut having to be a full-time mum to six kids, while having a super-active sex life became exhausting.\u201d<\/p>\n Before Craig, 42, started taking the Mounjaro jabs<\/a>, the couple\u2019s sex life had dipped dramatically due to having two babies under two.<\/p>\n \u201cOur youngest child is 14 months, and we also have a two-year-old daughter, so we\u2019re constantly running around, plus they are co-sleeping with us,\u201d says Kayla, who also has four children of her own.<\/p>\n \u201cThey want mine and Craig\u2019s attention at all times, so our sex life took a nose dive.<\/p>\n Weight Loss Jabs – Pros vs Cons<\/p>\n \u201cWe would have high hopes at the beginning of the day, but as the hours passed sex became the last thing on my mind.\u201d<\/p>\n When the pair first met back in January 2022, they enjoyed regular sex \u2014 but that soon felt like a long distance memory.<\/p>\n She says: \u201cBefore our two kids, I would say we had a healthy sex life<\/a> and did it around once a week, maybe twice. <\/p>\n “But having such young kids kept us busy, while also taking up most of our energy.<\/p>\n \u201cOf course at the time, I would wish for it to be better as we would go weeks \u2014 sometimes even two months \u2014 without doing the deed, and that thought would always be at the back of my mind.<\/p>\n \u201cI didn\u2019t want things to fizzle out, but naturally the kids took all my time up.\u201d<\/p>\n But when Craig began taking Mounjaro<\/a> in December last year things quickly changed. <\/p>\n The decision to start the jabs came after he reached 20st and, at 5ft 2in, had a BMI<\/a> of 51.4, making him morbidly obese<\/a> and at risk of type two diabetes<\/a> and heart disease<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI soon realised I needed to be careful of what I wished for,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n \u201cSince he has taken on Mounjaro, Craig\u2019s libido has the activation button on at all times. <\/p>\n ‘I COULDN’T KEEP UP’<\/p>\n \u201cHe asks for it morning, noon and night. But I\u2019ve got six kids.<\/p>\n \u201cWhere does he think I find the time?<\/p>\n “\u201cAt first I didn\u2019t think much of it, I thought it was more that he had this new-found confidence.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was exhilarating and it really did reignite the spark between us \u2014 it was like we were teenagers all over again.<\/p>\n \u201cIt could be anywhere in the house. <\/p>\n \u201cIn the laundry room, the bathroom or even the kitchen, you name it, he wanted it there.<\/p>\n \u201cSometimes we have guests over, or the kids are in the house and he wants a quickie.<\/p>\n \u201cDon\u2019t get me wrong, I love his new body \u2014 and the attraction is certainly there but I couldn\u2019t keep up. <\/p>\n \u201cI would never get anything done if I hadn\u2019t put the sex ban in place.<\/p>\n \u201cFour months down the line, in March, I had no other option but to ban Craig from the bedroom and make him sleep on the sofa.<\/p>\n \u201cI also felt that soon enough we were going to get caught by one of the kids.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cInitially he was gobsmacked. <\/p>\n \u201cThen he groaned that I didn\u2019t understand.<\/p>\n His increased libido combined with his body going completely \u2018off script\u2019 put me off sex even more<\/p>\n Kayla Goodearl <\/p><\/blockquote>\n \u201cI stood my ground and, he realised: happy wife, happy life. And I needed space.\u201d<\/p>\n A new study from Lloyds Pharmacy reveals that over three-quarters of people say their body image<\/a> affects their sex drive, rising to 82 per cent for women.<\/p>\n Interestingly, 30 per cent of respondents discussed how weight loss improved their libido, with an equal amount commenting on their improved confidence and self-esteem, as well as increased energy levels, and improved relationship dynamics.<\/p>\n Dr Tom Curtis, Clinical Head of Obesity at weight-loss programme Voy, says that it\u2019s not uncommon for patients taking weight-loss medications such as Mounjaro<\/a> to report an increase in their sex drive.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s usually as a result of the weight loss itself rather than a direct effect of the medication,\u201d he explains.<\/p>\n \u201cSignificant weight loss<\/a> can have a powerful effect on confidence, self-image, and energy levels, all of which can reignite desire and intimacy. <\/p>\n \u201cBiologically, there are also benefits.<\/p>\n \u201cIn men, weight loss can improve testosterone levels and blood flow.<\/p>\n \u201cIn women, it can help rebalance hormones such as oestrogen and insulin, which may improve mood and sexual responsiveness.\u201d<\/p>\n More typical side effects<\/a> include nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhoea, stomach upset, heartburn and even hair loss.<\/p>\n \u201cCraig had a tsunami of side effects, from Mounjaro moodiness, to constipation, farting, diarrhoea and bad breath,\u201d Kayla explains.<\/p>\n \u201cHis increased libido combined with his body going completely \u2018off script\u2019 put me off sex even more.<\/p>\n 5<\/p>\n Craig had a BMI of 51.4, making him morbidly obese and at risk of type two diabetes and heart diseaseCredit: supplied 5<\/p>\n Craig and Kayla with their two childrenCredit: supplied<\/p>\n Craig says: \u201cThe jab has the same effect on me as taking Viagra – I used it once as a laugh and it was great. <\/p>\n \u201cImagine wanting sex constantly but everything is preventing it.<\/p>\n \u201cAt times I wanted to cry but I just had to laugh.<\/p>\n \u201cI couldn\u2019t even get a snog from the missus. <\/p>\n \u201cThe jabs got me all pumped up and Kayla had had enough, so I understand it can get tiring for her.<\/p>\n \u201cNo one tells you about the secret Viagra-like effect of the jabs.<\/p>\n \u201cI was hot to trot but Kayla was not.\u201d<\/p>\n A new study published in Andrologia, a research journal focusing on male infertility and sexual disorders, has confirmed that weight loss, particularly in obese or overweight individuals using weight-loss jabs, leads to improved erectile function<\/a>.<\/p>\n This is attributed to better cardiovascular health, reduced inflammation, and increased testosterone levels. <\/p>\n![\"Man](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/craig-cooper-kayla-collects-fab-1004027079.jpg\")
