Marple<\/a> and Romiley, affecting services running from Manchester Piccadilly Station.<\/p>\nNetwork Rail is aware of the issue and is on site, says Northern in an update on its website.<\/p>\n
“Train services running to and from these stations may be cancelled, delayed or terminated at and started back from Marple. Disruption is expected until 10am,” says Northern.<\/p>\n
The operator added: “Manchester Piccadilly – Rose Hill Marple services will be disrupted.<\/p>\n
“Train services are unable to access Rose Hill Marple station and will divert to Marple station.<\/p>\n
“First services to run:<\/p>\n
“07:50 Manchester Piccadilly – Rose Hill Marple service will divert to Marple station<\/p>\n
“08:42 Rose Hill Marple – Manchester Piccadilly service will start at Marple station and will not call at Rose Hill Marple<\/p>\n
“Road transport: Please contact station staff at Rose Hill Marple or Marple if road transport is required between Rose Hill Marple and Marple stations.”<\/p>\n
