The Renfrew Bridge has been locked down by cops with bomb squad called in over a possible ‘ordnance device’.<\/a><\/p>\n

The newly installed bridge, which only opened last month, has been closed after a possible ordnance device was found around 10am this morning on a nearby building site.<\/a><\/p>\n

The bridge which spans across the Clyde linking Renfrew and Yoker has been closed down to all traffic and pedestrians. People have been asked to find alternative routes.<\/a><\/p>\n

Police say Explosive Ordnance Disposal <\/a>teams have been contacted.<\/p>\n
