{"id":207839,"date":"2025-06-23T14:14:11","date_gmt":"2025-06-23T14:14:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/207839\/"},"modified":"2025-06-23T14:14:11","modified_gmt":"2025-06-23T14:14:11","slug":"man-guilty-of-making-hundreds-of-indecent-images-of-children","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/207839\/","title":{"rendered":"Man guilty of making hundreds of indecent images of children"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>James Kelvin was warned he could be jailed<\/p>\n<p>14:59, 23 Jun 2025Updated 15:03, 23 Jun 2025<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/1_BR_PG_230625kelvin-66.jpg\" alt=\"James Kelvin arriving at Bristol Crown Court\" loading=\"eager\"  \/>James Kelvin arriving at Bristol Crown Court(Image: PAUL GILLIS \/ Reach PLC)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A man has pleaded guilty to making hundreds of indecent images of children, including dozens of the most serious kind, over a period of two years in Bristol.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">James Kelvin now faces the prospect of a possible prison sentence following an appearance at Bristol Crown Court today (Monday, June 23).<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Kelvin, of South Road, Goldsithney in Cornwall, was living in Bristol at the time of the offences.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Judge James Patrick heard that between November 15, 2019 and October 8, 2021, Kelvin had created 640 indecent images of children that were classed as \u2018Category C\u2019 severity, another 46 images classed as \u2018Category B\u2019, and 37 that were classed as the most serious \u2018Category A\u2019 images, included two that were video clips.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">In an earlier hearing at Bristol Magistrates&#8217; Court in May, Kelvin had pleaded guilty to other charges &#8211; one of making pseudo-photos which were indecent images of children, and another of voyeurism.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The judge released Kelvin, 51, , who is originally from Bishop\u2019s Stortford, on conditional bail after ordering a pre-sentence report to be made on him.
