EASTENDERS has introduced a brand new character – thirty years after he was first ever mentioned on screen.<\/p>\n

The BBC<\/a> soap opera left fans open-mouthed as it unveiled the father of Sonia Fowler for the very first time.<\/p>\n

Terry Cant, played by Glen Davies, made his first ever appearance in Walford <\/a>as he came face-to-face with his daughter Sonia on her doorstep.<\/a><\/p>\n

Terry is the ex-boyfriend of Carol Jackson – Sonia’s mum. Carol is also mother to Bianca Jackson with her ex, David Wicks.<\/p>\n

In the latest episode of the BBC soap opera, fans saw how a mystery man was lurking around the Square, seemingly with an interest in Bianca.<\/p>\n

At first, it seemed unsurprising given that Kim and Mo were offering tours of Albert Square after Walford achieved notoriety after Bianca spoke out about Reiss Colwell and his horror dealings on a true crime podcast which went viral.<\/p>\n

However, as Terry appeared to be watching Bianca from every corner, she soon confronted him on the street, unaware of who exactly he was.<\/p>\n

She said to him: “Oi! We don’t want sickos like you stalking us!<\/p>\n

“So just stay away from me and Sonia otherwise you’re going to regret it!”<\/p>\n

Terry later eyeballed Bianca as he said to her: “You don’t recognise me, do you.”<\/p>\n

Bianca’s face soon dropped as it was confirmed she had clocked who the man in front of her was but the audience were still none the wiser.<\/p>\n

Terry later spoke with Bianca where he revealed he had tracked her and Sonia down from the podcast and was now desperate to make up for “the lost years”.<\/p>\n

However, Bianca didn’t want to listed as she said: “Please walk away, don’t come back around here.<\/p>\n

“Do you understand?”<\/p>\n

However, it seemed that Terry had no plans to listen to Bianca as he soon rocked up on the front doorstep of Sonia.<\/p>\n

As she opened the door to him, she insisted she didn’t want to deal with any more true crime<\/a> fans.<\/p>\n

Having not met her father, Sonia replied: “Who are you then?”<\/p>\n

He answered back: “Terry. Terry Cant, your dad!”<\/p>\n

With Bex and Bianca now beside her, Sonia’s face dropped as the doof-doofs played out.<\/p>\n

But just why is Terry back?<\/p>\n
