Well, if you have three months to spare and you happen to have \u00a3112,900 lying around, then this epic rail journey might be just the ticket.\u00a0<\/p>\n

New tour operator, Adventures By Train, has announced a flagship tour that will take passengers around the world in 100 days.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The first departure is scheduled for March 17, 2026, and is now available for bookings for the general price of \u00a3112,900 per ticket.<\/p>\n

However, only twelve people will be able to join the inaugural journey, so adventurers need to be quick to secure a spot.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Those who book as a couple will get a significantly cheaper ticket, priced at \u00a389,950 each, reports Time Out<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

During the whirlwind trip, billed as a flight-free global voyage using only trains and cruises, passengers will visit dozens of UNESCO<\/a> World Heritage sites across three continents.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The world tour departs from London<\/a> St Pancras railway station, and will travel through 14 countries, including: France<\/a>, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary<\/a>, Romania<\/a>, Bulgaria,\u00a0T\u00fcrkiye, Georgia, Azerbaijan<\/a>, Kazakhstan<\/a>, China<\/a>, Japan<\/a>, Canada<\/a> and the US.<\/p>\n

Travellers will ride first class on iconic rail routes, including European sleeper trains through the Swiss and Austrian Alps, China’s high-speed rail to the city of Xian and the legendary California Zephyr Amtrak route round the Rocky Mountains.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Adventures By Train director Jim Louth said the trip ‘provides the perfect mix of world-class rail travel with hand-picked immersive experiences in optimum comfort.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 100-day itinerary will see passengers taking part in unique, curated cultural experiences and feasting in Michelin-starred restaurants across the globe.\u00a0<\/p>\n

From wine tastings in Georgia, to traditional tea ceremonies in Tokyo, to a walking tour of the UNESCO-protected city of Khiva in Uzbekistan, there will be plenty of exciting activities and awe-inspiring wonders to keep you on your toes.<\/p>\n

But the global odyssey isn’t strictly limited to rail routes, as passengers will sail the North Pacific on a 23-day voyage from Tokyo to Vancouver, as well as a seven-night transatlantic crossing from New York to Southampton aboard the Queen Mary 2.<\/p>\n

Additionally, passengers will board a 24 to 30 hour cruise from Azerbaijan to Kazakhstan, and an overnight one from Shanghai to Osaka.<\/p>\n

After a long day of travelling and touring, sleep-starved adventurers will be able to recharge in style in a number of historic and five-star hotels, including\u00a0Istanbul’s Pera Palace, The Langham in New York and the Shangri-La in Vancouver.<\/p>\n

Passengers are advised to pack light, though the company will allot $100 (\u00a378) per person per hotel for laundry services.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, a\u00a0couple have said they plan to spend the next 15 years living on an all-around-the world cruise<\/a> as they escape soaring bills at home.<\/p>\n

Lanette and Johan Canen, both 55, are six months into the cruise and said it was a ‘no brainer’ for them to live out their retirement on the never-ending Villa Vie Odyssey ship.<\/p>\n

The cruise is a residential style luxury around-the-world voyage, stopping at 425 ports in 147 countries across three and a half years – and their rent guarantees them a room for 15 years.<\/p>\n

The pair had already been living in Hawaii for ten years and ‘thought we’d die happy there’ – but after they went on a cruise holiday they came across the Odyssey and were ‘hooked’.<\/p>\n

Johan told Mail Online: ‘We had a rented cars business which we sold to be able to afford our cabin.<\/p>\n

‘People think we’re ultra rich for being able to do this, but it’s cheaper than our rent and living costs in Hawaii.
