PRINCE William is aiming to fly to Switzerland next month to cheer on the Lionesses as they defend their Euros crown.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The footie-loving royal<\/a> is throwing his support behind the national women\u2019s team \u2014 just as in 2022 when he was at Wembley<\/a> to watch them win the title.<\/p>\n

Wills will attend at least one group game to watch Sarina Wiegman\u2019s<\/a> side, maybe more depending on his royal commitments.<\/p>\n

Their first Group D game is against France<\/a> in Zurich<\/a> on July 5. <\/p>\n

They then play the Netherlands<\/a> in the same city on July 9 and Wales in St Gallen on July 13.<\/p>\n

A spokesman for William said: \u201cHe is looking forward to supporting the team and wishing them good luck.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Prince of Wales \u2014 who is patron of the FA<\/a> \u2014 is also set to meet the squad in person to give them his best wishes before they depart for the tournament.<\/p>\n

Wills is often seen supporting the men\u2019s and women\u2019s national sides, and his beloved Aston Villa<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He was pictured experiencing the highs and lows of the England men\u2019s Euros final loss<\/a> last year.<\/p>\n

And speaking to the women\u2019s squad last year, he revealed of daughter Charlotte<\/a>: \u201cShe wants me to tell you she\u2019s really good in goal\u2009.\u2009.\u2009.\u2009a budding star.\u201d<\/p>\n

England are reigning Euro champions but endured an unsettling few weeks with the retirement of stars Mary Earps<\/a> and Fran Kirby.<\/a><\/p>\n
